I love when fabric and color drape around you creating bold statements. Matched with a great pair of sandals, the bohemian femme chic look (as coined by TheSartorialist) is definitely one for the summer.

I had to throw in a Zara look mainly because this store is my favourite, but also to show that the high street is loving the colors and "drape-y" feel of clothes lately. So no need to treck to far away lands to feel bohemian! 

Nude Heaven

When HJ sent me this picture recently, all I could think of was how perfectly it summed up the Spring/Summer trends. Nudes, silks, and chiffon:

Then something else happened. I realised how perfect these colors would go with a recent craving of mine. Now, I dont ask for much in life. Honestly. When it really comes down to it I think I only occasionally find myself really wishing I could get my hands on an item. These lovelies would be one such item. They've definitely been making the rounds recently so I am sure you've seen them before but honestly, how cute! Close to $1,000 a pair, I'm probably going to keep dreaming and yet....

Summer Brights

I think many of us may be a little hesitant to throw on that yellow cardigan or canary skirt because we associate yellow fashion with dark, tanned and lovely. Now, if you happen to be any one of those..more power to you and keep throwing on the color! If you're like me however, yellow usually is a no-go... but things are about to change! Yellow is so wonderfully "summer" and here are some ideas to get you in the mood!
